It's Good To See Tucson Has Not Changed
Hay spill halts Campbell traffic. As we return to Tucson on a semi-annual basis for football games, basketball games or a dirtburger, we often remark on how the University and Tucson is so different from when we were undergrads. Not so fast. Apparently major thoroughfares are still at risk for complete blockage by large bales of hay. This must remind the older alums of Rodeo Week (eventually changed to Rodeo Day and completely removed from the days off list by about 1988). So the next time you visit the campus or walk down speedway with your eyes looking up at all the new buildings, look down every once in a while because you just might step in a cow pie.
